Cookies and Analytics

Short version: AIgentic sets no cookies, runs no tracking scripts, and uses a single first-party analytics beacon that forwards to a server-side, cookie-free provider. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honored.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If you open your browser's storage inspector while viewing any page, the cookie jar for this domain will be empty.

Analytics

For basic traffic statistics, AIgentic uses Pirsch Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service hosted in the European Union. The data flow is:

  1. When you load a page, a small inline script on the page sends a one-shot POST to a first-party endpoint at /api/track.
  2. That endpoint runs on our own infrastructure and forwards the request to Pirsch's server-side API, authenticated with credentials that never leave the server.
  3. Pirsch hashes your IP and records an anonymized page view.

Because the beacon hits our own origin, your browser never makes a direct connection to any third-party analytics domain. Pirsch's data handling is described at pirsch.io/privacy.

What is sent with each page view

  • The URL you are viewing
  • The page title
  • The referring URL (if any)
  • Your IP address (hashed by Pirsch; raw form discarded)
  • Your browser's User-Agent and Accept-Language headers

No other data is collected. No cross-site identifiers, no fingerprinting, no interactions beyond the page view.

Opting out

The beacon does not fire if your browser has either of the following enabled:

  • Do Not Track (the DNT header or navigator.doNotTrack)
  • Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl, broadly supported since 2023)

Both are supported natively in Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo. Chrome and Safari users can enable GPC through extensions. No additional action is required from you.

Ad blockers and anti-tracking extensions that block requests to /api/track will also prevent the beacon from firing. The site's content is fully functional without it.

Third parties

The only third parties that receive any information from your visit are the service providers we use to operate the site:

  • Vercel, which hosts and serves pages. Standard web request logs (IP, URL, User-Agent, timestamp) are retained briefly for operational purposes.
  • Pirsch, which processes the analytics hit described above.

Outbound links in articles point to primary sources (GitHub, arxiv, vendor documentation). When you click one, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

If this ever changes

If AIgentic later introduces ads, affiliate tracking, comments, or any other feature that changes the cookie or tracking story, this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect it. The Privacy Policy will carry the full detail.
